Gymaware is a small, portable and highly accurate velocity based transducer which is used to measure performance in the weight room. This encoder was developed by engineers with over 20 years of experience in elite sport, and is iOS compatible and Bluetooth connected.
Used by hundreds of sports teams, institutes and universities worldwide, this is one of the leading tools in resistance training. Clients include Manchester United FC, British Weightlifting and UK Athletics.
Perform Better have been distributing the Gymaware product in the UK since its launch in 2010.
The Optojump Testing System was developed by the Italian company Microgate, and has been sold into the Elite Sports market for over 20 years. It has been continually developing and improved, It now offers a single unit and modular system. Each metre contains 96 Led sensors with a 1cm resolution allowing for an accuracy that is comparable to most laboratory based systems. The system also includes webcams (which provide visual feedback), team reports, comparison reports, image or video-based reports, and user-written test protocols.
The introduction of the new GYKO accelerometry system is a valuable add-on, which allows you to see what’s happening to the athlete’s upper body movement, alongside the traditional lower limb stride and speed measures.

The innovative Hamstring Solo Elite provides an accurate, time-efficient, cost-effective means of assessing hamstring strength and symmetry. Providing practitioners with a unique insight into athletes hamstring function and strength, assessing when an injury may occur and tailoring the athletes training regime according.
The Hamstring Solo Elite is new to the market in 2017.
Witty was original developed by Microgate in Italy, the company who also supply the Optojump system. Microgate was founded 1989, and has since grown into a business that provides top-of-the-range sporting equipment for over 30 countries.
The Witty devices were introduced in 2013, to provide a solution to the timing system market, where there was a gap between functional and advanced timing. Witty has combined the simplicity of a standard timing system, with the advanced storage and programmability normally associated with the top of the range devices, all at a very competitive price.
In 2015 Witty added the Witty SEM, movement and reaction system, and the Witty RFID athlete management system to its range, in order to provide a family of products that can either work together or stand alone when met with a trainer’s requirements.

Emfit QS is the world’s first heart rate variability enabled contactless sleep tracker. It is completely autonomous (no phone needed) and is installed under the mattress helping athletes to benefit from recovery and sleep analysis.
Tuck the Emfit QS sleep monitor sensor under the mattress and it begins to send impressive data. Web application shows the data with any browser, in any size device, even in realtime, recording heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate and movement activity.
The ithelte product has been in the market for over 5 years and is an easy to use, yet reliable, measure of Heart Rate variability for both athletes and teams alike. An important element in all athlete development is the ability to measure their recovery, readiness to exercise and potential warning signs of illness or injury through over-training. This simple measure can be done by the athlete themselves or within a team environment, and the app and software provide important feedback on their current state of readiness.
