Tom Savage makes debut in Japan
PB Ambassador Tom Savage, makes his debut for new club Sungoliath Suntory in Japan.

Savage came on from the bench in his new sides 23-19 win over Japan Rugby Top League rivals Panasonic Wild Knights.

Tom Savage moved from his home town club Gloucester Rugby at the end of the English Premiership Season in May, to Japan. Savage had moved to Gloucester from Hartpury in 2011.

The 30-year-old lock was one of the Cherry and Whites' longest-serving players, having made nearly 200 appearances since his debut in 2011-12. Savage, also captained Gloucester during 2013-14, joined Japanese top-flight club Suntory Sungoliath back in June.

While in Japan Tom is making great use of the PB recovery range including the Hypervolt and Recovery Pump

Speaking on Recovery Savage said: “I invest a lot of time on my recovery so that I am in the best condition physically and mentally for every training session and game. I am delighted to join the Perform Better team and take my recovery to the next level.”
