The client wanted to convert an external building at their lovely Leicestershire home to allow both themselves, and visiting family to have a great space for exercise.
Having trained in Perform Better gyms with his professional football club our team were the natural choice when choosing their home gym set up.
Overview
It was important for the client to have equipment for barbell based exercises as well as other resistance and cardio work in the space available. After an initial consultation, An Elite Half Rack and Smith Machine combination were chosen to be the focal point of the room. This was custom designed and built to allow for the reduced ceiling height in the room.
In addition, other equipment included a compact dual adjustable pulley to allow for a wide range of resistance exercises but keeping the equipment space minimal. Dumbbells adjustable benches and an upright cardio bike from Spirt were also included.
The frames were selected in unfinished steel which uses a clear finish on the steel for a nice industrial look and feel to the equipment.
