Perform Better have teamed up with professional rugby player, Tom Savage, for 2019.


Savage has been a part of Gloucester Rugby since 2011, and is known for his ultra- professional standards at the club. He is closing in on his 200th appearance for the side.

Tom Savage is the first rugby player to join the Perform Better Ambassador Programme, which was launched in the summer of 2018. The programme supports professional athletes with key equipment for training and recovery, in addition to flagship items for tournaments and events.

As an ambassador for Perform Better Tom Savage will engage with audiences over the benefits of elite training and the benefits of using the specialist Perform Better equipment, as well as attending key events, seminars and workshops in the industry with the Perform Better team.

Speaking of the announcement Tom Savage said: “I enjoy the challenge of being a professional rugby player, on and off the field. I’ve always had an interest in strength and conditioning and am constantly looking at ways to push the boundaries on a daily basis.

“I invest a lot of time on my recovery so that I am in the best condition physically and mentally for every training session and game. I am delighted to join the Perform Better team and take my recovery to the next level.”
