The King’s School is proud to boast a brand new £60-million campus in Prestbury, providing state-of-the-art accommodation for boys and girls aged 3 – 18.
The Sports Centre provides an impressive 1,000m² sports hall together with a six-lane 25m swimming pool and Cheshire’s first dedicated indoor cricket facility. A dance/martial arts studio, fitness suite and Sixth Form café are located on the first floor. Externally, there are 8 senior rugby pitches, 4 cricket pitches, outdoor cricket nets, five junior football pitches, junior rugby pitches, two all-weather Astroturf hockey pitches, six tennis and netball courts, a 400-metre athletics track, and a dedicated rounders pitch.

Overview
The King’s School had invited PB to tender for the fitness suite within the new build school sport building.
The school sports staff required a multifunctional room including free weights and resistance machines, cardio equipment and a small functional space to cater for all ages and abilities. There was also a requirement to have enough ’workstations’ to cater for a full class if required.
Following an initial meeting to gain the clients needs and a follow up meeting to present our design ideas and layout, PB were selected as the sole supplier of equipment for the project.
The installation of equipment was completed in September 2020 just in time for the new school term.
