Background
Lelo Tblisi are a semi professional team playing in the Georgian 1st Division based at the Lelo Arena and were champions of the Georgian League in 2014 and 2015. In 2024 Lelo became part of the Saracens Global network and have historically supplied the most players to the Georgian Rugby National and age group teams.
The Project
Having previously equipped S and C facilities for the Georgian Rugby Union at Locomotive Tbilisi and Plato Tbilisi in 2024, PB were again selected to equip the refurbished S and C space at the Lelo Arena along with facilities in Gori and Poti.
A space under one of the stands was refurbished and 30mm performance flooring was laid throughout the facility. Four Performance Power Racks were installed along with Leg Press, Leg Extension/Curl, Dual Adjustable Pulley, Cable Crossover complemented by Olympic discs/bars, dumbbells, kettlebells, plyo boxes, prowlers, medicine balls. In addition a full range of cardio equipment was installed including: Concept Bikes, Ski Ergs, Assault bikes and a Crosstrainer.
Lelo will be the training base for the England team at the upcoming Under 20s World Cup in June 2026.
