Mansfield Town Football Club is a professional football club based in the town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. Nicknamed ‘The Stags’.
In 2019 they pushed through with plans to create a new club training facility named the RH Academy.
The venue’s name – short for The Radford & Hymas Academy – honours the two benefactors, chairman John Radford and academy director Steve Hymas, whose funds have made the project possible.

The state-of-the-art facility will boast a new full-sized and floodlit 3G pitch, built to FIFA standards.
Chairman John Radford said “The opening of the new training ground will be a significant moment and a real leap forward. The site and its facilities will be beneficial for many different areas of Mansfield Town Football Club as well as the local community.”
Perform Better were selected to create a Strength & Conditioning gym at the facility to allow all teams access to develop their strength and physical performance.
30mm Performance flooring was installed with embedded birch wood lifting platforms sporting the club crest.
