The University of Suffolk is a public university situated in Suffolk and Norfolk, England. The modern university was established in 2007 as University Campus Suffolk, the institution was founded as a unique collaboration between the University of East Anglia and the University of Essex.
Overview
The team at the University of Suffolk required a lifting platform to allow them to incorporate more into their teaching within the Human Performance Laboratory.
Space was required to fit the existing equipment, protect the lab sub flooring and allow for weights to be dropped safely. Perform Better designed and manufactured a custom 5m x 3.7m platform area specifically to meet the requirements.
The installation took place over one day with the team working around the programmed lecture times to minimise the disruption to the University.
