The device uses reflectance spectroscopy to analyse multiple wavelengths of light for use in its proprietary algorithms for light spectrum analysis. This analysis is used to quantify the degree of hydration in real-time. The device is fitted into a urinal and gives immediate results in the form of red, amber or green light.
