After the success of the temporary Strength and Conditioning facility which Perform Better provided to the England Men’s team at their hotel for the European Championships in France last summer, Perform Better were again selected to provide a similar facility for the Women’s team at the European Championships in Holland.
Overview
A conference room in the hotel in Utrecht was converted into an S & C facility and rehab area. Duratrain flooring with a turf track was laid on the floor and a range of equipment including: 2 x Performance half Racks, two x Squat Stands, Leg Press, Keiser Functional Trainer, Benches, Glute Ham bench, Olympic discs and bars, dumbbells, Wattbikes and Keiser spin bikes.
Perform Better were given a tight deadline of just two days to create the new facility, which included full branding on the walls, before handing over to the players on their arrival to the hotel .
The staff and players fed back how impressed they were with the temporary facility and how much it helped with their preparations.
