Pre-season has seen a number of Football clubs adding bespoke Functional Training Rig and Storage options to their Strength and Conditioning facilities. Perform Better have been involved from design to installation.

Burnley FC had an existing bespoke rig fitted around a pillar in the middle of the room. Perform Better designed an extension to the rig to the side of the room. The extension included monkey bars, shelves to mount laptops and monster storage down either side of the rig.

Leicester City have added a new bespoke rig into their 1^st team gym. The rig includes adjustable monkey bars, step up plates, dip attachments, storage and rope machine attachment plus a bespoke lifting platform to sit under the rig to house the Forcedecks Force platforms. The rig was produced in the club colours of blue and black.

When designing Barnsley FC’s new Strength and Conditioning facility, there was a pillar in the middle of the room. The staff wanted to use the pillar for chinning and suspension trainer work. We designed a bespoke rig to fit around the pillar to allow them to do this.

At St George’s Park National Football Centre a large bespoke functional training rig was installed. The rig measures 12m x 6m and includes four runs of monkey bars, four lifting stations, Nordic stations, storage, adjustable landmine trainers, and multiple chinning bars.
