We invited Eleanor to introduce herself ......
"I’m 23 years old and currently playing netball for the England Roses and Severn Stars. Over the past 2 years netball has taken a massive priority in my life as I’ve now become a full time athlete training in Loughborough and Worcester a lot of the time. I’ve represented England on numerous tours including the Quad series, Jamaica test series and Malawi test series where I’ve not got over 15 caps for my country. I studied Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University with a keen interest in biomechanics making me very aware of issues along side being an elite athlete. In the future I wish to extend my knowledge in the sports science industry and do a masters and PHD in this field."
Hobbies/ interests: Obviously netball is my main interest however when I’m not taking part in netball I love to spend quality time with friends and family. I find it’s always good to have hobbies out of sport to rest the mind so when it comes to performing I can perform to my best.
Achievements: Superleague champions 2012 and 2014 with Manchester thunder, European champions England u17, u19, u21 and senior, over 15 caps for England Roses. "
